Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Mileage reimbursement only (IRS rate); lodging and malpractice not included

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric
Average Daily Volume: 10-16 cases
Case Mix: Endoscopy, MAC, EGD, Colonoscopy

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: N/A
EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 60-120 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Endoscopy cases (MAC)
EGD with biopsies
Colonoscopy with biopsies
Combined EGD/colonoscopy
CRNA solo cases

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in AANA (CRNA)
Licenses: Active Michigan License or eligibility to obtain
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Board Certified
Other Qualifications: Local provider required, clean malpractice history, NPDB self-query (within 30 days)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide independent anesthesia services for endoscopy procedures.
Administer MAC anesthesia for 10-16 cases per day.
Manage EGD and colonoscopy procedures including biopsies.
Work autonomously in a dedicated endoscopy center.
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.
