The role

At SLICFiber, the Broadband Growth Specialist serves as the local face of our residential fiber-optic network, taking ownership of the brand within an assigned territory and helping bring cutting-edge high-speed internet to neighbors throughout the service area.

This role drives residential subscriber acquisition through a blend of direct customer outreach, community engagement, local event activation, and data-driven relationship management.

The ideal candidate thrives in the community, collaborates effectively with internal marketing and operations teams, maintains accurate CRM and performance data, and travels daily throughout the designated local territory.

What you'll do

Customer Acquisition: Proactively connect with residents throughout the territory, explain the benefits of fiber-optic technology, and convert interest into new residential internet subscriptions.

Brand Ownership & Community Engagement: Take ownership of the local market by collaborating with internal teams to plan, staff, and execute community events, trade shows, festivals, and neighborhood pop-ups.

Data & CRM Management: Use CRM software and tracking tools to log interactions, manage leads, and regularly report performance metrics, pipeline updates, and territorial insights.

Market & Competitor Intelligence: Attend regular corporate training to stay current on products and promotions while monitoring competitor offers and market shifts.

Territory Travel: Travel extensively throughout the designated local territory to build strong neighborhood relationships and maximize brand visibility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with diverse groups of people.

Highly organized, with experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot to track activity, manage data, and measure progress toward goals.

Self-motivated and adaptable, with a collaborative approach to cross-team event planning.

Must reside locally and have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel daily within the territory.

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to support community events.

Salary Description $35,000.00-$40,000.00/year plus commission
