This is an hourly, full-time position, 7:30am-3:30pm. The Instructional Assistant will support and assist the lead teachers in classroom preparation, execution of daily lessons, and classroom management. Duties include working with students in small groups, supervising students, and monitoring daily outside recess breaks. Ideal candidates will be practicing Catholics with a devotion for education and working with children. St. Thomas More Cathedral School is a U. S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and a Virginia Distinguished Purple Star School. It is a warm and welcoming, faith-centered environment serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade with a spiritual, physical, and emotional whole child approach to academic excellence.
