We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! Responsibilities Clean assigned guest rooms / residential units following hotel standards. Review assignments & ensure all special requests & instructions are met. Follow the lost & found hotel policies. Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked Report all discrepancies to appropriate department. Remove trash and place in designated area. Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics Wipe and sanitize high-touch areas Remove soiled bed linens / terry & replace with clean. Make the bed according to hotel standards. Clean and disinfect toilet, sink, and shower/tub. Replace used bathroom toiletries. Wipe mirrors and any glass surfaces. Vacuum carpets or rugs, sweep and mop hard floors Check and replenish room amenities (coffee, tea, minibar items). Ensure the in-room safe is functioning and properly secured. Arrange furniture neatly Adjust the room temperature to the designated level. Do a final inspection to ensure everything is clean and in place. Close and secure the door properly. Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management or related field education is a plus. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Proficiency in Alice software is preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, as well as requirements and use of equipment is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively or as a part of a team. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal. Provide legible communication. Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
