CT Technologist II

Role CT Technologist II responsible for providing safe, high-quality imaging services in a team-oriented environment. Key Duties Perform clinical CT procedures across various patient populations, select appropriate technical factors, and adhere to radiation safety principles. Assist with invasive procedures under CT guidance, maintain a clean environment, and ensure proper equipment operation through quality control. Communicate effectively with patients, obtain medical history, explain procedures, and support patient comfort. Document activities accurately, process images promptly, and contribute to departmental performance improvement initiatives. Maintain sterile technique during invasive procedures and prepare contrast administration areas. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent, radiologic technology certification from an accredited program, ARRT(R) and CT (ARRT(CT)) registration or NMTCB(CT) certification. Less than 1 year of CT experience required; cross‑training or CT certification preferred. Licenses include BLS/CPR. 10+ years of CT experience required for internal candidates prior to a specific date. Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care techniques essential. Basic computer skills and familiarity with anatomy are preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of anatomy, physics, and imaging protocols; professional communication; adherence to ethical standards; ability to operate imaging equipment and perform quality control.
