MRI Technologist II

Role MRI Technologist II responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures with clinical competency across all locations and patient populations. Responsibilities Conducts MRI scans, supports invasive procedures, administers contrast, and ensures patient safety through proper positioning and safety protocols. Participates in performance improvement, maintains equipment quality, and documents care activities. Transports patients, verifies orders, educates patients, and processes images for interpretation. Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, manages supplies, and reports equipment issues. Acts professionally, communicates effectively, and embodies organizational values. Qualifications Associate's degree and certification in Radiologic Technology or MRI from an accredited program. 3-4 years of MRI experience, with ability to independently perform protocols. Certifications required include ARMRIT and ARRT (MRI), along with BLS. Internal candidates with extensive experience may be considered without certification. Skills & Abilities Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, patient positioning, and safety standards. Ability to perform technical operations, handle stressful situations, and adapt to emergent cases. Effective communication, professionalism, and commitment to quality care are essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
