Adjunct/Part Time Lecturer; Computer Science

Position Summary Adjunct/Part‑time Faculty for Computer Science courses at UNC Charlotte. Positions are temporary and involve teaching one or more courses per semester. No benefits accrue. Responsibilities Develop and/or update course syllabus Prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments Attend all designated class periods Maintain regularly scheduled office hours Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner Submit mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations Qualifications Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or master’s with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline for undergraduate or graduate courses Earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline for graduate courses Demonstrated competence, effectiveness, and capacity in teaching, including undergrad/grad degrees, work experience, professional licensure, certifications, honors, and documented teaching excellence Teaching Information Expected Length of Assignment: Spring 2026 and/or Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026 Semester.
