Position Overview Account Manager

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to build and strengthen relationships within the food processing industry. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them identify solutions that support their business objectives while driving long-term growth for both the customer and our organization.

The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with strong consultative sales skills, a passion for customer success, and a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and achieve sales goals.

What You'll Do

• Develop and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities within existing accounts to increase sales and customer value.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, needs, and concerns.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
• Provide customer training and startup support as needed.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account progress.
• Consistently follow up with customers to ensure a positive experience and continued engagement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 25 years of sales, account management, or business development experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience assessing customer needs and developing tailored solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience building and maintaining successful client relationships.
