The Recreation Technician II is responsible for repairing recreation rental equipment, including rental bikes, skis, and other equipment as required based on the season and open operations. Responsibilities Maintains all recreation equipment in line with company procedures or policies. Assists guests with selecting the type, size, and use of the various equipment for proper fit. Becomes familiar with all types of equipment used. Effectively communicates with guests to ensure all receive prompt and courteous service. Performs a daily inspection of all inventoried rental equipment. Inspects all equipment involved in an accident per Aramark procedures. Repairs damaged equipment that fails inspection or requires maintenance. Uses proper tools to replace any equipment or accessories that need it, such as handlebars, stands, seats, broken parts, and repairs tire holes in tubes. Completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Has 1–2 years of experience with recreation equipment repair preferred and maintains a current certification to work on equipment. Is flexible and willing to work a varied schedule. Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
