Oh, and did we mention… no nights or weekends! Responsibilities Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment. Provide cost estimates for repairs. Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed. Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials. Collect payment for work performed. To Succeed in this Role To succeed as an Appliance Repair Technician, you’ll need to demonstrate exceptional customer service, the ability to move from diagnosis to solution, a focus on quality of work, efficiency, punctuality and reliability, pride in the details, and ongoing training. Exceptional Customer Service : You are the face of the company, delivering a great customer experience with empathy and accurate diagnosis so customers can get back to running an efficient household. Getting from Diagnosis to Solution : You explain what’s wrong and what needs to be done so the customer understands and the issues are resolved quickly. Quality of Work : You apply critical thinking and problem solving to ensure the job is fixed correctly, the first time. Efficiency : You manage your time effectively to handle daily needs. Punctuality and Reliability : You show up on time to deliver a great experience. Pride in the Details : You keep your work vehicle clean and organized and value attention to detail in customer information and reports. Ongoing Training : You engage with regular training to stay current with new appliances and features. Job Requirements MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus! Benefits & Pay The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on your experience in appliance repair. You also will have the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions.
