Maintenance Technician III

Summary This position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. May also be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. Responsibilities Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment Troubleshoot causes of mechanical and electrical errors Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas Prepare and manages periodic preventative maintenance schedule Responsible for keeping the records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues Provide initial and continuous hands-on training in equipment functions, features, and repairs for new employees Prepare and maintain maintenance related documents of daily report and check sheets Mentor and train new maintenance technicians Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S/3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred Experience 7+ years of experience or equivalent relevant experience required PLC experience preferred Understanding of production and processing equipment Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Skills Planning and organizational skills Effective and efficient time management Strong attention to detail Creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented Problem solving and critical thinking skills Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve #J-18808-Ljbffr
