Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities throughout the San Jose area. This permanent opportunity offers competitive hourly pay, varied shift options, and possible relocation assistance. One position is currently available for a qualified radiologic technologist.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Thursday through Monday
• Morning and evening shift options available
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview

Pay Range

• $52.00–$60.00 per hour
• State licensure reimbursement after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images as ordered by physicians.
• Transmit X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Scan examination-related paperwork and billing documents according to established procedures.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, facility staff, and clients.
• Maintain imaging equipment and the assigned vehicle.
• Follow operational procedures and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required.
• California radiologic technologist license required.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or appropriate documentation must be submitted for an exemption.
• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs, with ramps and pulleys available to help reduce the load.
• Comfortable traveling between healthcare facilities and performing mobile imaging services.
