Work Environment

This role operates within an outpatient office setting, providing flexible remote work options that enable our counselors to manage their caseload effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your work hours will typically align with our supportive structure, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, you will engage in team meetings and training programs to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical services, including individual and group psychotherapy sessions, crisis intervention, and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, following best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Develop and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Provide consultation and support to institutional staff, including members of screening and psychiatric committees, to facilitate effective mental health management solutions for clients.
• Actively participate in team meetings and continual professional development activities, contributing to program enhancements and innovative clinical practices.
• Engage in proactive quality improvement initiatives, monitoring service effectiveness, client outcomes, and adherence to agency policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCMHC at Behavioral Health Connections LLC, you will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues. Our holistic approach ensures that each client’s individual circumstances and cultural backgrounds are considered when formulating effective treatment plans. Your contributions will be vital in helping clients navigate their paths toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• Current and valid independent mental health counseling license in Vermont (LCMHC).
• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in clinical counseling or psychotherapy.
• Thorough understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, integrity, and professionalism in client interactions.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently managing your caseload and schedule to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy via telehealth platforms to enhance accessibility for clients.
• A background in group therapy facilitation.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems within the Manchester area.

Compensation and Benefits
