Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials and components.
• Utilize various measuring tools such such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately in the quality management system.
• Identify and tag non-conforming materials, initiating the non-conformance process.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve material discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM operation and/or programming.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
