What You’ll Do The Quality & Government Compliance Specialist is a quality representative responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks within the government program are complete to ensure that the site maintains compliance. This person will be the main point of contact for document control with the government program. This person will also serve as the Facilities Security Officer. The Quality & Government Compliance Specialist will report to the Program Director. Coordinate yearly audit schedule and ensure requirements are met Maintain all audit records, including relevant notes and reports Coordinate and complete audits, backshift and quality, communicating the results Track Corrective Action Requests and Preventative Action Requests (CAR/PARs) to ensure the team appropriately responds to issues Trend CAR/PAR findings to proactively spot weaknesses and address the problem Maintain document control system for the government program, including issuing new and revised records to all affected employees Work with employees to update procedures and documentation Develop and maintain the document control program for the NFNY business unit Serve as Facilities Security Officer for the site and communicate updates to the security plan Submit clearance approval documents for incoming program employees as needed. Provide administration support to the Program Director What You’ll Need To be successful in this position, you must: Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field or related curriculum, preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a quality system (ISO9001, Nadcap, NQA-1, or similar) Detail-oriented mindset to ensure timely filings are maintained and documents remain organized and up to date Ability to work with minimal direction and oversight Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be a US Citizen willing and able to obtain government security clearance Compensation We proudly offer robust compensation and benefits packages, including: Competitive pay, commensurate with experience Heavily subsidized medical and dental plans Employer-sponsored retirement plan Company-paid life insurance Immediate paid vacation and generous holiday time Family-friendly sick and personal leave policies Opportunities for career development Washington Mills aims to deliver a comprehensive compensation package. The compensation provided is the national pay range for this position of $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year depending on experience.
