Nursing - Med/Surg Telemetry RN

This is a 13-week contract position with opportunities for extension available.

Night shift: 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for winter coverage. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and have a good understanding of patient care protocols in a telemetry setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG rhythm, and overall patient health.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and in hand.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting the assignment.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
