Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary Taylor Home Improvement is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. As a family‑owned, community‑focused company, we’re looking for someone who’s passionate about helping homeowners improve and protect their homes. In this role, you’ll generate leads, build rapport, and close sales that align with their needs and our expert services. Territory management – travel to scheduled appointments and meetings within your assigned territory. Sales performance – consistently meet or exceed designated sales targets. Sales strategy execution – create and implement personal sales strategy that aligns with company mission and values. CRM documentation – accurately document all leads, appointments, sales, and customer interactions in the company CRM. Canvassing and door knocking – complete a minimum of 50 door knocks per day, averaging 250 per week. Self‑generated leads – proactively engage in self‑generation activities to identify new opportunities. Use of canvassing tools – utilize the provided canvassing app and reference the active production board. Event participation – represent the company at home shows, farmers markets, and local community gatherings. Insurance claim assistance – assist customers with inspecting and filing insurance claims for storm‑related damage or other qualifying repairs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous outside sales experience preferred. Excellent negotiation and customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and persistence.
