Outsystems Architect - Remote / Telecommute

OutSystems Architect

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform. Define technical architecture and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Establish best practices, standards, and governance for development, security, and performance. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the low-code development ecosystem.

Minimum 8 years of software development experience. At least 3 years of experience as an OutSystems Architect or similar leadership role. Strong expertise in OutSystems platform development and architecture. Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level applications. Strong experience with system integrations using APIs, web services, and databases. Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Design and lead implementation of OutSystems-based solutions. Define and maintain technical architecture and strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Establish and enforce development standards and best practices. Oversee integrations with external systems and services. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams. Ensure quality through code reviews and testing strategies. Monitor and optimize application performance. Maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts. Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive innovation.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple projects. Additional OutSystems or related certifications.

OutSystems architecture and development. System integration and API management. Technical leadership and mentoring. Performance optimization and troubleshooting. Documentation and solution design.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required. OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer certification required. OutSystems Architecture Specialist certification required. Additional certifications preferred.
