Physician Float- Primary Care Network, West Florida

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Full-Time Float ! This Physician will float throughout Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties in West Florida.

At work, you will experience:

Work Life Balance Schedule. Option of a 4- or 5- day work schedule. No weekend office hours.
Shared Call. Practice call only. No hospital rounding. Nurse triage support for call coverage.
Patient Census. Expect to see between 20 and 22 patients per day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, the electronic medical record.
Dedicated Admin Time: 4 hours weekly for a full-time physician.
Clinic Support Team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA), front office staff, and a practice administrator.
Specialty Network. A comprehensive team of specialists and ancillary services is available to provide a full spectrum of care for your patients' needs.
Clinical Utilization. You will have the opportunity to practice medicine as it should be and utilize all of your clinical skills-preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
Environment. Our office is intentionally designed to meet our patients' needs.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
Proficiency with minor office-based procedures, including, but not limited to, joint injections and minor dermatologic procedures
Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US-based residency program)
Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates will be considered if certification can be obtained before hire
Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
Comfortable with minor office-based procedures
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain before hire
DEA license or ability to obtain before hire
BLS required; ACLS (preferred)
