Job Title: Project Manager II

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager II to oversee core, shell, and tenant improvement (TI) scopes on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. This role will manage project execution, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and project documentation while partnering closely with field teams, MEP partners, and design stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage core, shell, and tenant improvement scopes for large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, field teams, MEP partners, and design stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes are followed.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and subcontractor management.

Essential Skills

• 5-8 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360/Autodesk Build, Microsoft Project, or Oracle Primavera P6.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with field teams, trade partners, and project stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction and mission-critical projects.

Work Environment

This role typically involves working 60+ hours per week, with travel rotations of 10 days on / 4 days off or 11 days on / 3 days off. During rotations, expect to work 6 days per week with occasional weekend work, roughly once per month or every 6 weeks. A strong team structure and support system are in place to ensure success.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lubbock, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $200000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
