As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site policies and applicable post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of authorized equipment, complete required reports and documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
