As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive as needed to monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized entry or disruptive behavior. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
