Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial research location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.86 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the automotive research facility, including building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
