As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy, applicable laws, and site requirements, and maintain awareness of conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
