Overview
The Aesthetician/Laser Technician is responsible for providing professional skincare treatments and laser-based services to clients in a safe, effective, and caring manner. This role includes conducting consultations, recommending appropriate treatment plans, performing services in accordance with company protocols, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care & Treatment Delivery:

• Perform a variety of aesthetic services, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, waxing, and other skin treatments.
• Administer laser and light-based treatments such as hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, and acne therapy (as permitted by state law and certification).
• Conduct thorough client consultations, including skin analysis, medical history review, and treatment recommendations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide pre- and post-care instructions to clients.
• Ensure all procedures are performed with high standards of safety, sanitation, and professionalism.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to state regulations, company policies, and laser safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, client progress, and consents in electronic medical records.
• Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment and treatment rooms after each use.

Customer Service & Sales:

• Provide excellent customer service to build trust and client satisfaction.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, post-treatment care, and available products or services.
• Recommend and promote skincare products and packages to support client goals.
• Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and client retention efforts.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with medical and spa staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and continuing education opportunities.
• Support the front desk during peak times as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Valid state Esthetician License or Cosmetology License.
• Laser Technician Certification (where required by state regulation).
• Experience in aesthetics and/or laser treatments are preferred.
• Knowledge of skin biology, product ingredients, and laser/IPL technologies.
• Excellent communication, client care, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology office, or cosmetic practice.
  • Certification or training in advanced treatments (e.g., microneedling, chemical peels, IPL, laser resurfacing).
  • Sales or product knowledge in skincare lines
