About the Role

A growing multi-entity organization in the manufacturing, construction, and service industries is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing accounting staff, maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and supporting company growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger activities

• Lead and support accounting personnel while creating accountability and structure

• Prepare and review journal entries

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

• Support financial reporting and analysis

• Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and workflows

• Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records

• Support multi-entity accounting operations within QuickBooks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or similar role

• Strong full-cycle accounting knowledge

• QuickBooks experience required

• Experience managing accounting personnel

• Month-end close experience required
