CNC Lathe Machinist

Description Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist . This role is Full-Time First Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm Microwave Techniques is a global leader in high-power microwave components, industrial microwave systems, and RF solutions. Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specification Selects the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials. Verifies dimensions and tolerances of finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Modifies speeds and feeds based on product and material Makes minor programming changes as appropriate Maintains strong communication and documentation Requirements Qualifications: 2 or more years’ experience with CNC Lathes Knowledge of safe working practices and safe machine operation Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance Experience with various metals and plastic Technical aptitude and math skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines What can you expect from us?
