Emerson Apparatus is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our small manufacturing company.
We’ve been a leader in providing high quality laboratory testing equipment since 1908 to many various industries. We are looking for a Full-time machinist with skill in CNC Mills along with some conventional machines. We are hoping to find the right person with experience, work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team. Wage depends on experience and knowledge. *Job Description/Responsibilities:* * Knowledge of machine shop practices. Setup, operate and programming of CNC Mills. CNC Lathe experience a plus.* Wide variety of materials from Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel, Brass/Bronze, Plastics
* Production on runs from 1 to 100 and everything in between
* Must be comfortable working to tolerances down to +/- .0005
* Safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Set up and adjust machines for production runs
* Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills a plus
* Dependable transportation on a must Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits:
