CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for either first or second shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 or more years of CNC machining experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Working with CNC machines and equipment, associated tools and their maintenance Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations Selecting correct tooling and parts to perform the job Uploading and downloading programs into the CNC equipment based on detailed specifications Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, programmers and other team members Ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments Inspecting and performing preventive maintenance of CNC Equipment Qualifications and Requirements: 3 or more years' experience as a CNC Machinist Preferred Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Strong time management and organizational skills Strong planning and documentation skills, detail focused Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven production environment. Ability to perform mathematical calculations including converting fractions to decimals Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically active work Ability to interpret blueprints, setup sheets and work tickets Willingness to cross-train and adapt to shifting priorities What Can You Expect From Us?
