Parsons provides a unique opportunity to be involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interaction on a team that is focused on developing superior products and encouraging the career growth of its members.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM/ technical fieldminimum of 5+ years of professional experienceGood writing, communication and interpersonal skills3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)US citizenship is requiredEligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Polygraph, as required.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience in rugged chassis enclosure design for electronics hardware, including mil-spec connectors, coatings, and hardware for MIL-810 applications.Experience in designing chassis to survive MIL-810 testing including shock, vibration, salt fog, and submersion.Experience working in additive manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, soldering, and welding would be a plusExperience setting-up, operating and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (e.g. crimp/solder harness assemblies, PCB surface mount component rework, epoxies, and composites)Security Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
