About the Role:

Luigi's Gourmet Express & Restaurant in Johnston, RI is looking for a talented and passionate Bartender to join our team! If you love crafting cocktails, creating memorable guest experiences, and have a flair for Italian hospitality, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty Italian-inspired beverages with consistency and flair
Provide exceptional guest service at the bar and support dining room beverage needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift
Engage guests with menu knowledge, including food and drink pairings
Process transactions accurately using the POS system
Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to all alcohol service regulations
Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure a seamless dining experience

Requirements:

Previous bartending experience, preferably in a full-service or restaurant environment
Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and Italian spirits a plus
Valid Rhode Island alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain one)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
