School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Ellicott City, MD Industry: Education Pay Rate: $45-$55 per hour, based on experience Start Date: ASAP A school center near Ellicott City, Maryland is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate opening. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students in grades 8-12 in a supportive educational environment focused on helping students build functional skills for success in school and beyond. Responsibilities Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Caseload Grades 8-12 (ages 13-21) Approximately 15-17 direct service hours per week, plus consultative services Wednesdays are half days for students, with dedicated time for documentation, meetings, and planning Qualifications Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license. Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Education Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
