Help Desk Technician I

Medical Services of America is currently seek a Full-Time Help Desk Technician to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Lexington, SC. Responsibilities: Receives and resolves complaints regarding hardware, software and/or services. Assists with in-house application related issues. Escalates issues to senior help desk team members per MSA issue escalation standards and troubleshooting techniques. Utilizes in-house Work Order system to record work performed and track issue resolutions. Understands PHI and HIPAA guidelines and works with all team members to ensure compliance. Reports any concerns or issues to the IT Security Team. Performs additional IT related duties as assigned by Helpdesk Manager. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Job Requirements High school or General Education Degree (GED) required. One to two years related experience preferred. Knowledge of personal computers and PC application and development software required. Good oral and written communications skills. Must have the ability to communicate and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel, frequently under deadline pressure.
