As the Sr. Regional Oncology Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by building strong relationships with oncologists, pathologists, and other healthcare providers, while promoting Exact Sciences' Precision Oncology portfolio. The individual will develop and execute strategic territory plans, identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.This is a field based position, covering Ohio; Celina, Dayton, and Cincinnati west to the West Virginia border.What You'll Work OnDevelop and execute strategic territory business plans to drive adoption and utilization of Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products, including OncoExTra, OncoDetect (MRD), RiskGuard and Cancerguard (MCED) while consistently achieving sales objectives.Build and strengthen relationships with oncologists, pathologists, key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders by leveraging clinical expertise and a consultative selling approach.Partner with managed care, reimbursement teams, patient advocacy organizations, and providers to improve patient access and address barriers to testing.Analyze territory dynamics, competitive activity, and clinical trends to identify growth opportunities, influence key stakeholders, and adapt sales strategies in a complex oncology market.Serve as a trusted resource by providing market intelligence and customer insights to regional and national leadership, while collaborating cross-functionally to support business objectives and deliver best-in-class customer service.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or, Science, or any other related field or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree5+ years of sales experience with a strong record of success selling/promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics or similar experience in selling/promoting complex healthcare products 3+ years medical sales experience in specialty areas including: Buy & Bill, Medical Device, highly clinical Specialties like urology, cardiology, GI3+ years experience selling in a highly competitive environmentDemonstrated clinical and scientific expertiseDemonstrated strong territory or account management skillsDemonstrated strong understanding of competitors and market trends that are impacting product utilization of customersPossession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowedNo more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 monthsNo alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 monthsNo other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Abbott Cancer Diagnostics to what we deems to be an unacceptable level of liabilityDemonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodationAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsClinical experience1+ years of experience in oncology either selling chemo/immunotherapy or diagnostics in oncologyStrong relationships within oncology accounts in territoryExperience selling to surgeons and cancer centersExperience in molecular diagnostics, such as NextGen Sequencing, Molecular Residual disease, comprehensive genomic profiling, liquid biopsy, hereditary cancer, NIPT or carrier screening.The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY:Sales ForceDIVISION:ONCO Cancer DiagnosticsLOCATION:United States of America : RemoteADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:WORK SHIFT:StandardTRAVEL:Yes, 75 % of the TimeMEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:Not ApplicableSIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day), Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipmentAbbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.EEO is the Law link - English: is the Law link - Espanol:
