It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary.Startup and shutdown the CMM machinesQualify probes and perform additional studies on gauges dailyReview CMM results and Document inspection results as requiredSet up Autorun programs to help inspectionRecord inspection data using established programs and softwareCompile data from the gaugeComplete any other tasks as assigned by supervisorInspect components to determine if they are compliant to specificationsSubmit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspectionInterpret detailed blueprints, work orders and engineering specificationsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for productsFollow all clean-up and housekeeping proceduresComply with all safety and sanitation regulationsNotify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying these problemsYour ProfileKnowledge/ ExperienceA high school graduate or GEDKnowledge of CMM operations including setup and controls.1+ years' experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance including the ability to define tolerances on prints and perform inspection techniques.Ability to follow inspection processes and plansPrevious experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges preferredPrevious experience with advanced quality control equipment such as: digital height gauges, surface roughness gauges, coordinate measurement systems, etc. preferredProficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and OutlookSome experience with technical specifications and blueprintsThe ability to see details at close rangeWork independently with little supervisionExhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and processClear communicationCritical thinkingPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:Ability to walk/stand for long periods of timeLift and move a minimum of 30 pounds without assistanceWorking with small partsRepetitive hand/arm useWork EnvironmentSome of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to highProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerWalking back and forth between running machinesContact & Additional InformationSalary and Benefits:The hourly range for the position is $20- $23/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.Must Have:Must have US work authorization.Indefinite U.S work authorized individuals only.
