Production Line Mechanic
Crossville, TN

Night shift | 6pm-6:30am | 4 on x 4 off
Pay: Dependent on experience

A local manufacturer is seeking a Production Line Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. This position plays a key role in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring high-quality product standards through preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:
-Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production line equipment.
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and minor electrical issues.
-Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
-Repair and replace parts as needed while maintaining parts inventory.
-Optimize equipment performance to improve efficiency and product quality.
-Document maintenance and repair activities.
-Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred.
-At least 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Experience with conveyors, mixers, spray systems, or similar industrial equipment is preferred.
-Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, moving machinery, and varying conditions.

-Strong attendance and reliable transportation
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
-Steel toe footwear required
