Village Caregiving Opportunities

Village Caregiving is looking for experienced caregivers to assist clients with non-skilled, non-medical care in their home. We are looking to hire to help clients in Springfield, Ohio and surrounding areas. PRN, part time or full time available.

Responsibilities include helping clients take prescribed medication, assisting clients with ambulation and mobility, assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, helping clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises, doing the client's shopping or accompanying them when they shop if needed, performing light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals, collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members, reporting any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members, acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Requirements include previous caregiver experience- 1 year or longer that can be verified or an active STNA license is preferred, current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred, but not required, willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints, must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner, outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills, physical endurance to complete required tasks, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license.
