General Summary Perform physical examinations of patients and evaluate and treat radiation oncology patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Assist with the survivorship clinic and collaborate with surgical oncology. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X‑ray, etc. Monitor the patient’s course of treatment and make appropriate referrals to either a physician or specialist, as needed. Collaborate with physician supervisor and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff. Display a caring and professional attitude at all times and maintain personal and professional growth. Manage cancers of brain, HN, skin, thorax, breast, gastrointestinal system, genitourinary system, gynecologic system, lymphatic system. Knowledge and Skills Required Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public. Strong communication skills. Strong medical decision‑making skills are a must. Radiation oncology experience preferred; strong clinical background with an emphasis on sub‑specialty oncology related conditions would be beneficial. Candidate must be able to pass a third‑party background check and pre‑employment drug screen. Schedule Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM Campus: AH Kissimmee Required Education / Experience Master’s degree in APRN or Physician Assistant studies. 1‑2 years sub‑specialty experience in oncology and/or radiation oncology experience as an APRN or PA. Bilingual‑Spanish preferred not required. Licensure, Certification, and Registration Current, valid Florida ARNP or PA license. ANCC, AANP (or equivalent) or NCCPA certification is required.
