Special Education Teacher - Denver, CO

Key qualifications and experience: Valid Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience in a middle school or similar setting Familiarity with supporting students in math within inclusive and resource settings Strong ability to individualize instruction and adapt curriculum Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to design and implement IEPs effectively Primary responsibilities: Serve 8th grade students in both push-in and pull-out formats, specifically targeting math instruction Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual learning styles and needs Monitor, document, and report student progress toward educational goals Collaborate with grade-level teachers, related service professionals, and families to maximize student growth Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and support in goal setting and accommodations Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development Why consider this contract opportunity?
