Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Michigan
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support staff
• Effective organizational and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ physical abilities to determine treatment needs and create tailored therapy plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services according to students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track progress and adjust interventions as necessary, maintaining accurate records and reports
• Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student participation in school activities
• Provide training and resources to school staff for safe mobility and access strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and planning
