About the Position

Casselman Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses who enjoy working with seniors and are passionate about providing quality resident care.

As an LPN, you will work as part of our nursing team to provide safe, compassionate and individualized care to our residents.

LPN Responsibilities

·       Provide nursing care to residents as assigned.

·       Administer and document medications and treatments according to orders.

·       Prepare for and assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments.

·       Provide health and care instructions to residents and their families.

·       Participate in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and resident activities.

·       Assist with resident admissions, transfers and discharges.

·       Monitor and report vital signs, symptoms and changes in residents' conditions.

·       Document residents' responses to nursing care and treatments.

·       Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.

·       Assist with unit management and assume charge of the unit as assigned.

Qualifications

·       Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

·       Commitment to providing compassionate, quality care to residents.

·       Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

·       Strong communication and organizational skills.

·       New graduate LPNs are welcome to apply.
