About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a primary focus on cardiac patients, including those with Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions including COPD and Pneumonia as a secondary focus
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses including Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia
• Float to other campus locations as needed
• Complete and pass a compliance EKG exam prior to unit placement (2 attempts allowed)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
