Together, these principles are embedded throughout our trauma-informed philosophy and guide how we serve youth and families, support one another as colleagues, and partner with our community.About the RoleThe Residential Program Supervisor (Evenings) provides leadership and oversight for residential programming during afternoon and evening hours within our Child & Family Treatment Center (CFTC), a 24-hour residential program serving youth ages 8–18 referred by DCFS and ISBE. This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth while supervising direct care staff and responding to critical incidents and emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a confident leader, remains calm in crisis situations, and is passionate about supporting youth on their path toward healing and growth.What You'll DoSupervise, coach, and support Youth Treatment Specialists to ensure high-quality care and adherence to program expectations.Maintain safety, staffing coverage, schedules, and daily residential operations during evening shifts.Respond to behavioral incidents and crisis situations using trauma-informed de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies.Complete required documentation, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and timely.Coordinate youth transportation, medical appointments, emergency responses, and other operational needs.Collaborate with clinical, educational, and residential teams to support treatment goals and positive youth outcomes.Who We're Looking ForRequiredBachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience in human services, social services, behavioral health, education, or a related field; OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of related human services experience.Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.PreferredExperience working in residential care, child welfare, behavioral health, youth development, or a related setting.Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.Previous staff supervision or team leadership experience.Position Requirements & Work EnvironmentWork Location: Child & Family Treatment Center (CFTC), 4833 N. Francisco Ave., Chicago, IL 60625.Schedule: Full-time evening shift; typically 1:00 PM-11:00 PM or 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, including weekends and holidays as assigned.Travel/Driving: Must be able to transport youth and respond to program-related transportation needs.Physical Requirements: Requires frequent movement throughout the facility and the ability to kneel and safely return to a standing position without assistance as part of crisis intervention responsibilities.Work Environment: Residential treatment setting serving youth with emotional and behavioral challenges requiring consistent supervision and support.Other Position Requirements: Must successfully complete all required background checks, pre-employment screenings, and training requirements.Compensation and BenefitsWe care about the well-being of our employees and are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes:Salary: $20.10-$23.00 per hour.
