Technical Business Development Manager Location: Columbus, OH On-Site | Full-Time United Industries Group (UIG Tank Systems) is building dedicated regional teams focused on supporting hyperscale data center infrastructure growth throughout North America. UIG designs, manufactures, and installs engineered storage systems supporting: Fire protection water storage Cooling system makeup water Thermal energy storage Reclaimed water infrastructure Other critical utility systems for mission critical facilities UIG has supported hyperscale data center developments nationwide, including ongoing work across multiple Google campuses and other mission critical infrastructure programs. We are seeking highly motivated Technical Business Development Managers with backgrounds in mission critical construction, engineering, industrial infrastructure, or data center project delivery. This is not a traditional sales role. The ideal candidate is: A self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment A strong relationship-builder who connects well with clients, engineers, contractors, and developers Technically savvy and comfortable discussing infrastructure systems and project execution Experienced in mission critical or data center environments (preferred) This role will work closely with: General contractors and EPC firms MEP engineers Mechanical contractorsFire protection engineers Data center developers and owner teams Key Responsibilities: Build strategic industry relationships throughout the region Identify and develop upcoming project opportunities Support specification and basis-of-design efforts Conduct technical presentations and client meetings Help drive long-term regional growth initiatives Preferred Backgrounds: Mission critical construction MEP engineering Mechanical systems Industrial infrastructure Fire protection systems Data center infrastructure EPC/project delivery environments Technical business development or B2B sales Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary Uncapped performance incentives and commission structure Significant long-term earning potential Vehicle/travel allowance Benefits package Target total compensation range: $80,000 – $140,000+ annually, including base salary, incentives, commissions, and bonuses.
