This on-site production technician role focuses on assembling plastic static mixers using manual and semi-automated processes in a light assembly and manufacturing environment. You will perform structured, repetitive tasks with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and safety while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, follow detailed instructions, and take pride in producing high-quality products in a consistent and reliable manner.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build plastic static mixers using manual and semi-automated processes.
• Perform light assembly of plastic parts, often by hand, and occasionally using semi-automated or automated equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
• Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
• Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to help meet company objectives and customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement to meet quality system objectives and enhance product consistency.
• Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain efficient workflow.
• Handle and move materials, including lifting and moving boxes up to 50 lbs, as needed for production activities.
• Perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods, depending on task requirements and personal preference.
• Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with team members to support coordination, quality, and safety compliance.

Essential Skills

• Experience with production, general labor, assembly, or assembly line work.
• Ability to perform compounding and mixing tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting, including lifting and moving boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong planning and organization skills to manage tasks efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Local availability to work on-site in Mound House, NV.

Work Environment

The work includes handling materials and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs, so comfort with physical activity is important. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to safety procedures, with required safety training provided. You will work closely with a production team, relying on clear verbal communication and coordination to maintain safe and efficient operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Carson City, NV.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
