Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to premature and critically ill infants in a Level 3 NICU setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care that promotes stabilization, recovery, and healthy development.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients' vital signs, medical status, and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, respiratory support, and invasive/non-invasive ventilation as directed.
• Manage central lines, fluids, and tubes, including Ostomies and Broviac catheters.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate and support parents and families regarding their infant’s condition and care needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with neonatal or pediatric experience preferred.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE required.
• Proven ability to care for infants with complex needs, including post-surgery and ventilated patients.
• Ability to care for patients with non-invasive ventilation (NIV) such as BCPAP and NAVA.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
