Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled OR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Idaho Falls, ID. The role requires immediate start with clinical expertise in operating room procedures and trauma care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room setting.
• Assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient assessments, documentation, and education.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and CSTs, to coordinate patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control policies throughout procedures.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid ID RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3+ years of operating room experience in a hospital setting.
• Proven trauma experience and flexibility with shift and on-call schedules.
• Ability to perform procedures such as burn treatment, ENT, neuro, and robotics surgeries.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
