Salon Manager – Pet Grooming Salon
Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves both pets and people? We are looking for an experienced Salon Manager to lead our grooming team, oversee daily salon operations, and help create an exceptional experience for both clients and staff.
Our ideal candidate is organized, proactive, team-oriented, and passionate about building a positive salon culture. This role is perfect for someone who can balance leadership, customer service, scheduling, and operational excellence while supporting a team of talented groomers.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily salon operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Lead, motivate, and support grooming staff
• Manage scheduling for groomers and client appointments
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve client concerns professionally
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon environment
• Monitor salon performance, productivity, and client satisfaction
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and team development
• Ensure pets receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care
• Manage inventory and salon supplies
• Help grow the business through client retention and positive salon culture
• Support front desk operations, phone calls, and appointment management as needed
Requirements:
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a grooming salon, pet care, retail, or service-based environment
• Grooming industry experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset with strong conflict-resolution skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments
• Experience with scheduling software and basic computer skills preferred
