Who we’re looking for Forge Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multi‑disciplinary team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience treating clients with substance use disorders as well as general psychiatric disorders. The position is part‑time (8‑24 hours per week) and may be performed remotely or in any of our New York facilities (Rego Park, Syosset, or Hauppauge). It reports to our Chief Medical Officer and typically compensates $75‑95 per hour, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing Provide psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, follow‑ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals for general psychiatry as well as substance use disorder specifically. Provide consultation to non‑prescribing mental health staff and medical staff about diagnosis, treatment, and/or the need for psychiatric medication. Participate in team meetings with treatment staff. Regularly participate in the creation of individual treatment plans for patients, and review plans already in place. Document all activities in the electronic medical record in a timely, concise, and clear manner.
