Dental Hygienist

We’re seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the ultimate patient experience is delivered to every patient. Screen patients during checkups. Clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums. Examine for indications of oral cancer. Review a patient’s dental and medical history. Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor’s notes accurately. Recommend care to improve a patient’s oral health. Perform preventive dental care. Apply fluoride treatments. Take x-rays and review them for signs of dental diseases. Sterilize and prepare dental instruments. Special Skills Establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers. Set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules, and multi‑task. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. State Hygiene License required. Current CPR Certificate required. Current Hepatitis B vaccination required. Ability to administer local anesthetic agents required.
